However since the cap does not pack a battery pack, this means that you can’t use the solar panels to store charges and use it for later, but rather it is meant for charging on the go and in the moment.
Like we said you might feel a little silly to have a cable hanging off your cap, but if you desperately need to charge your mobile device, this should do in a pinch. Speaking to Engadget at SXSW, the company revealed that its solar panels are capable of charging a device at 200mAh, which is pretty decent as far as solar-powered devices are concerned.
