Oppo has an entire series of handsets that it calls “the selfie expert,” as the name suggests, these handsets are focused towards those who really like to take selfies and want the perfect phone for that purpose. Oppo also happens to be one of the fastest growing smartphone companies out of China so it appears that its strategy is working off. Oppo is due to launch two new handsets – the F3 and F3 Plus – in the near future and according to a new report the handsets will feature a dual selfie camera.
While more and more manufacturers are moving towards dual camera setup for the back, Oppo is expected to introduce a front-facing dual camera system. The F3 and F3 Plus are said to feature a dual 16 megapixel + 8 megapixel front camera as well as a single 16 megapixel shooter on the back.
The dynamics and benefits of this dual selfie camera system have not yet been detailed but we can expect Oppo to talk about it in detail when it officially launches the handsets. After all, it appears to be the biggest selling point of the F3 and F3 Plus.
Oppo is yet to confirm when its new handsets will be launched and how much they’re going to cost. Reports suggest that the company is going to unveil the F3 and F3 Plus on March 23rd.
