The Nintendo Switch has an official release date set for the 3rd of March. However it seems that over in the UAE, the console might have been released earlier than expected. This is thanks to images surfacing on Instagram of the Switch being sold, and according to the folks at Gadgets 360, they have confirmed that this was true with some of their readers from the UAE.
That being said we guess that doesn’t really matter especially when you consider that the games aren’t available just yet. All of the Switch’s launch games are expected to be released on the same day as the console itself, so while retailers might be selling the Switch early, the fact that there are no accompanying games means all you’ve got is a console that turns on and off and nothing more.
A couple of weeks ago, a video surfaced showing a Nintendo Switch in operation which was initially thought to have been an early release as well, but it was later suggested that the console was actually stolen and that the gamer was never accidentally sent the console two weeks in advance.
Anyway like we said the Switch will be available in the next few days and if you haven’t pre-ordered the console, not to worry as companies such as Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart will have units available for walk-in customers.
