Movado, known for its minimalist wristwatches, announced a few weeks back that it was going to unveil a new Android Wear-powered smartwatch in the near future. It has now shared the official images of the Movado Connect and has also revealed how much the smartwatch is going to cost. If you’ve seen Movado watches then the look of the company’s smartwatch will certainly be very familiar to you.
While we’ve seen many Android Wear-powered smartwatches being announced at Baselworld 2017 this week, the details about most of them are slim right now as the companies have only chosen to announce their new wearable products without going into too much detail.
Movado is no different. Despite the fact that it has officially unveiled the smartwatch and shown it off, the company hasn’t confirmed most of its technical specs that many customers will certainly want to find out before they decide whether or not they want to buy it.
What’s known currently is that the Movado Connect has an edge-to-edge crystal face with an Always-On Display. The design itself is very clear and just to make sure that it looks like a Movado, the company’s signature Museum dial is also present but it’s not like the watchface can’t be easily changed on a smartwatch.
Movado is going to offer the Connect is five men’s style in the fall this year with prices starting at $495.
