HTC U Ultra Pre-Orders Shipping In The U.S.

There’s good news today for those who pre-orders one of HTC’s new smartphones in the United States. The company announced its U Ultra smartphone in January and started taking pre-orders for it back then. Customers have had to wait for more than a month to get their hands on the device but they will be delighted to find out that HTC is finally shipping pre-orders of the U Ultra to customers based in the United States. The company also has some other good news.

Those who pre-ordered the HTC U Ultra when the handset was unveiled in January this year can rest assured that their orders have now been shipped. The other good news is that HTC has also confirmed that it’s going to open general shipments of the U Ultra on March 10th. This means that anyone will be able to go to the company’s website, buy the U Ultra, and not have to wait for it to be shipped.

The U Ultra is HTC’s first flagship smartphone for this year. It packs a 5.7 inch Quad HD display with a Snapdragon 821 processor under the hood coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. The handset also has a 2 inch secondary display above the main display.

There’s a 12 megapixel f/1.8 aperture rear camera and a 16 megapixel front camera with a 3,000mAh battery. HTC is selling this flagship smartphone unlocked and off contract for $749. It can be purchased from the company’s online store in Sapphire Blue, Ice White, and Brilliant Black colors.
