However the good news for schools and educational institutions looking to equip their students with laptops is that Google has unveiled a new Chromebook. Or rather the company has revealed that HP will be launching a new rugged laptop in the form of the HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 Education Edition.
In terms of hardware specs Google has remained mum on that front, but from what we can tell and from Google has revealed, it will be a 360-degree convertible Chromebook. This means that its display can flip around so that it can double up as a display-only for watching movies, videos, or sharing slides, or it can be switched back where it will function as a more regular laptop.
Pricing and availability were not mentioned but for those looking for a rugged Chromebook for school, then this could be one laptop to keep an eye out for.
