So the next question is, when can you get your hands on the phone? According to a report from The Investor out of Korea (via SamMobile), they claim that Samsung is expected to start accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 starting on the 10th of April, which is about 2 weeks after the phone has been officially announced.
Following the pre-orders, the phone is then said to be officially going on sale worldwide on the 21st of April, so a little under 2 weeks after the pre-orders, which means that it’s roughly a month from the announcement to its release. The dates have yet to be officially confirmed, but judging from the past and how we’ve seen companies operate, it doesn’t really seem like that much of a stretch.
In any case we should find out soon enough, but remember to check back with us towards the end of the month if you’d like all the official details.
