Last year Bethesda released Fallout Shelter onto the PC. If you have yet to get your hands on it, you might be interested to learn that there is now another outlet in which you can get your hands on the game from, and that is Valve’s Steam gaming platform. There is no difference if you get it from Steam or any other platform since it plays the same, but we guess there are some gamers who might prefer keeping all their games in one place, such as Steam.
However we suppose there are advantages or perks if you download it from Steam, such as Steam achievements and Steam’s cloud support, but beyond that there’s no real difference. For those unfamiliar, Fallout Shelter is a game from Bethesda based on the Fallout franchise that was released back in 2015.
The game was a surprise announcement by Bethesda at E3 and it was met with a lot of success, which in turn prompted Bethesda to release the game onto other platforms such as consoles. It tasks players with managing a “vault” in which survivors go to and stay and live their lives. The game is free-to-play although there are in-game purchases in the form of Lunchboxes that provides players with new weapons, outfits, new dwellers, and so on.
The game also features quests and missions that players can take part in. If you want to add the game to your Steam collection, just head on over to the Steam store for the download.
