Bungie is gradually revealing more information about the next Destiny title. Having confirmed a couple of days back that it’s going to be called Destiny 2, it released a teaser trailer for the new game yesterday which suggested that the new game is going to have an element of humor about it as well. However, the developer has confirmed one of the biggest changes that it’s making with this title. It has confirmed the Destiny 2 PC release.
It had been rumored multiple times over the past few months that Destiny 2 would be released for PC. The original title only came out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as their previous-gen consoles so naturally, PC gamers felt left out.
Bungie has confirmed today that Destiny 2 PC release is going to take place later this year. The PC version is also going to be available in multiple editions. The standard edition will have only the base game and there’s also going to be a version with a season pass.
PC gamers will also get a digital deluxe edition which features both of those things as well as bonus in-game loot. There will be limited and special editions of Destiny 2 for PC that will be geared towards ardent collectors.
Those who pre-order the game will receive access to an early beta but Bungie hasn’t confirmed when the beta will go live. It’s going to reveal more information about Destiny 2 this summer.
