However turns out that maybe we might get our event after all. In a new report from DigiTimes (via AppleInsider), it has been revealed that Apple could be revealing the new 10.5-inch iPad at a special event that will be taking place in April. Now we can’t say with certainty that the event will only cover the 10.5-inch iPad or if it will cover all the iPad refreshes.
Apple also tends to merge multiple products into a single event, and given that it has been a while since we last saw a refresh of the 12-inch Retina MacBook and the iMac, perhaps the event in April could cover those products as well, but do take it with a grain of salt. Recently there have been signs that Apple could have a new iPad in the works.
Logs have shown that Apple is testing out four different iPad models, which we can only assume is the iPad mini, the 9.7-inch iPad/iPad Pro, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but like we said we’ll have to wait and see.
