Motorola said last month that it will release the much-awaited Android 7.0 Nougat update for the unlocked Moto Z in the United States by February. At that time the company didn’t confirm precisely when the update will be released in the coming month. It has now followed through on its promise because the unlocked Moto Z Nougat updatee is now out for users in the United States.

Multiple reports have come in about the unlocked Moto Z receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update in the United States. It appears that the update is being rolled out in stages at this point in time as the reports suggest the update is not live yet in all regions across the country.

Nevertheless, what matters is that Nougat is now rolling out for the unlocked Moto Z in the United States. It has certainly been a long wait for owners of this device so they will no doubt be delighted to get a taste of the latest iteration of Android.

Unlocked Moto Z owners can expect all of the bells and whistles that Google has promised with Nougat, including but not limited to the user interface changes as well as the countless new features included in the update.

Motorola also said recently that it’s going to release the Nougat update for the Moto Z Play at some point in March.
