It has been a couple of weeks since the first two downloadable content packs were released for Resident Evil 7. However, both the Banned Footage Vol.1 and Vol.2 DLC packs were released exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Players on Xbox One and Windows had to wait for a couple of weeks and they don’t have to wait any longer. The Resident Evil 7 DLC Xbox One release is finally underway today.
The Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Banned Footage Vol.1 and Vol.2 DLC is out now for the Xbox One and Windows via Steam. The DLC packs cost $9.99 and $14.99 respectively. It will automatically be added to the accounts of those players who have purchased the season pass for this title or own its Deluxe Edition. The Vol.1 DLC includes Bedroom, Nightmare, and Ethan Must Die. Vol.2 brings Jack’s 55th Birthday, Daughters, and 21.
These DLCs explore the concepts of horror, puzzle-solving, and combat all of which are main components of Resident Evil 7. The DLCs explore each of these concepts separately in depth. The found footage idea enables players to explore things that didn’t happen all in the main sequence.
Resident Evil 7 players on Xbox One and Windows who have been waiting for these DLC packs can rejoice today. They can head over to the respective online stores on their gaming platform of choice and download the Banned Footage Vol.1 and Vol.2 right now.
