By now we guess it is pretty obvious as to what Motorola will be unveiling at MWC 2017: the Moto G5 and the G5 Plus. We’ve seen quite a few photos leaked to date, and if you’re after more images then you might be interested in a recent tweet by Evan Blass who tweeted out a render of the handset.

The handset in question is that of the Moto G5 Plus for Verizon. Now given that we don’t really have any basis for comparison and the fact that Verizon’s branding is missing from the handset, we guess it’s hard to say if this is the Moto G5 Plus and if it is indeed headed for Verizon, but then again Blass has been pretty solid with his leaks in the past so perhaps we can take his word for it.

The latest render doesn’t tell or show us anything we didn’t already know, such as the design of the phone, its camera, and also the fingerprint sensor that is on the front of the phone. So far what we know of the Moto G5 Plus is that it will be slightly larger than the Moto G5 with a 5.2-inch screen (versus the G5’s 5-inch display).

It is also expected to pack a faster chipset under the hood, a slightly larger battery, but otherwise both phones so far appear to be more or less similar. Either way we’ll find out for ourselves come MWC 2017 next week.
