Microsoft and 343 Industries are going to hold a special Halo Wars 2 Event on February 7th. The event is going to take place at the flagship Microsoft Store in New York. The game’s developers will provide demonstrations of the game and will also answer questions about it. Microsoft’s Larry Hryb, better known in the gaming community as Major Nelson, is going to be attending the event as well.
Attendees will be treated to food and drinks as this event is going to be catered. They will also get chances to win exclusive Halo Wars 2 prizes.
The only caveat here is that only the first 100 people in line at 7:30 pm ET will be allowed into the store to participate in this event. Those who are in line will receive a complimentary special credential that will provide them with access to the event and it will also double as a ticket for prizes.
The event post mentions that if there are more than 100 people at the same time when the line opens at the aforementioned time, the 100 attendees will then be randomly selected, which means that lining up early is not going to increase your chances if more than 100 people show up which is highly likely.
Halo Wars 2 is going to be released for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on February 21st.
