A little over a week ago, photos of LG’s upcoming Android Wear smartwatches were leaked. There are two devices rumored to be in the works in the form of the LG Watch Style and the LG Watch Sport, and now thanks to a report from Android Police, a possible price for the LG Watch Sport might have been revealed.
According to their sources, they have learnt that the LG Watch Sport will cost $350 upon its release. This is $100 more than the LG Watch Style which we heard would cost $250, but there’s a good reason for this. Not only is the LG Watch Sport bigger, but it will come with features that the Watch Style does not, such as LTE connectivity, GPS, a heart-rate monitor, and also NFC that will help support and facilitate Android Pay.
While the difference of $100 is pretty big, it’s not really that much of a stretch to think that all these added features, especially LTE and Android Pay support, will make it a more compelling purchase for users who want a more well-rounded device. Of course we’ll have to wait for the official sales and reviews to come in before we can determine how well-received it is, but for now we suppose it’s not that bad of a deal.
That being said the LG Watch Style and Watch Sport have been rumored to be officially announced on the 9th of February.
