We reported a few days ago that Lenovo possibly has a new mid-range tablet in the pipeline called the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus. It’s the successor to last year’s mid-range tablet and from what we’ve heard about it so far, it doesn’t appear to be something to write home about. Nevertheless, those who are interested in this product will be happy to know that some purported images of the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus have been leaked online.
The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is said to feature an 8 inch 1920×1200 pixel resolution display, an 8 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, and more.
As far as the power package is concerned, the Lenovo tablet is likely going to feature an octacore Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB of RAM. It may only have 16GB of onboard storage but external expansion will be possible via microSD cards.
The battery is said to be a respectable 4,250mAh. Even though it’s going to be a new product it appears that the tablet will only be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and not Android 7.0 Nougat.
No word as yet on how much this tablet is going to cost and when it’s going to be available for purchase. Lenovo will confirm this information during its MWC 2017 press event where it’s also expected to unveil some other new products such as the latest Moto smartphones.
