With Injustice: Gods Among Us launching on multiple platforms including mobile, some gamers are probably wondering if its successor, Injustice 2, will be similarly launched on mobile as well. The game was previously announced for the Xbox One and PS4 but now it has been confirmed by NetherRealm’s Ed Boon that it will also be coming onto mobile.
According to Boon’s tweet, “Yes #Injustice2 is coming to mobile! Brand new app with tons of new features, modes & all new combat system! More info soon!” Details of the mobile version of the game is a bit scarce at the moment, but gamers can take comfort in knowing that it will be arriving on mobile. No release date was mentioned so it is unclear if the mobile version will be launched alongside the console version, or if it will be released at a later date.

Interestingly enough there have been some reports that the game has already been soft launched in the Philippines. We don’t have access to the Philippines app stores so we cannot verify if that is true. However there is a gameplay video that was uploaded by Allstars Production that shows off some of the mobile gameplay, so you can check it out above if you’re interested.
In the meantime the console version of the game is currently set for a May 16, 2017 release on the PS4 and Xbox One. There is still no mention of whether we can expect a PC version but given that the first game was launched on PC, we don’t see why not.
