With game day just around the corner, I’m sure many will be firing up Google to find recipes for snacks to impress guests that come over to watch the big game. Google has now improved its recipe search. When users search for recipes via the Google app on their smartphone now they will see a carousel of tappable suggestions to make sure that they find the best recipe to suit their preferences and kitchen skills.
“Now a single tap can kick off a journey to please your palate,” Google says, adding that its Google app with the new and improved recipe search is “your new champion teammate in the kitchen.”
For example, if you search for seven-layered dip in the Google app, it’s going to display options that range from “healthy” to “vegan” or “taco dip,” among others. Same goes for chicken wings, punch that into the app and get recipes for all of the different ways you can make chicken wings.
The top recipes are pulled from a wide variety of sources and they include easy to understand step-by-step instructions. The app is also capable of providing recommendations for recipes that users didn’t know existed.
This new feature has now been rolled out and is live in the Google app for mobile.
