Samsung has already confirmed that it’s not going to unveil the Galaxy S8 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 later this month. However, the company is going to conduct a press event at MWC 2017 and will be announcing something new. It’s likely going to be the Galaxy Tab S3, a new flagship Android tablet, and recent reports have suggested that it’s going to come with an S Pen. A leaked Galaxy Tab S3 photo appears to confirm that possibility.
Samsung is reportedly going to ship an S Pen with the Galaxy Tab S3. Previous reports mention that it won’t provide a Note-like experience because there won’t actually be a place in the tablet to store the stylus. You’ll have to carry and care for it separately, which means that the stylus will be easily lost as long as you’re not using a case with the tablet that has a separate place to hold the S Pen.
The Galaxy Tab S3 will certainly provide more functionality if it does have support for the S Pen. Users will be able to do so much more on their tablets. It would also make the Galaxy Tab S3 a compelling option for those who are looking to upgrade from the Galaxy Note Tab.
Pricing and availability information has not yet been revealed but we can be sure that Samsung is going to talk about it at the Mobile World Congress 2017 later this month.
