Alleged Samsung Galaxy S8 Schematics Revealed

About a week ago, Evan Blass at VentureBeat posted an alleged photo of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. Now it seems that the photo could be the real deal because in a report from CNET Korea, they have seemingly backed up the photos with rendered schematics of the handset.

It should be noted that these schematics weren’t “leaked” as they are rendered based on an eyewitness account, so basically these are drawings put together based on information that was relayed to them. While these are renderings, they do look similar to the photo. For example it seems that the fingerprint sensor will indeed be placed at the back next to the camera.

The front part of the phone also appears to be relatively similar to the leaked photo, but in this instance it shows the actual size of the handset’s display which measures 143.05mm. In the second render, the display is slightly larger at 154.46mm which seems to confirm that Samsung will be launching two models of the Galaxy S8, one of which we have previously learnt could be called the “Plus”.

The dimensions also seemingly confirm the display sizes at 5.6-inches and 6-inches respectively. Needless to say this should be taken with a grain of salt, but last we heard the Galaxy S8 was set for a launch towards the end of March, so we still have a couple of months left before it is all made official.
