Launched back in 2015, Bethesda was initially skeptical about how well Fallout Shelter would perform. After all Bethesda is known as a company that deals mostly with PC and console games, not really mobile. However given how much the game reportedly earned, we guess they did not have much to worry about.
That being said it was announced last week that the game would be arriving on the Xbox One and Windows 10 this week, and sure enough it has. The game is one of Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere titles, which means that if you were to download it on your console, you’d also be able to play it on your Windows 10 computer.
Things like progress, saves, purchases, and etc. will also be carried forwards and shared between either platform, so you’ll be more or less capable of picking up where you left of. The game is a free download, as is the mobile version of the game, and the in-app purchases are Lunch Boxes which basically contains additional items that you can use in-game, but are completely optional if you’d rather grind it out the old fashioned way.
In the meantime a new trailer for the game has been released, so check it out above if you are curious.
