Many of you guys are probably familiar with Etsy, the online shopping platform that is geared more towards shoppers and sellers who are interested in handcrafted items and art. However it seems that the company has decided to branch out and have announced the launch of a new platform: Etsy Studio.According to the company, “Etsy Studio, the first new market we’ve built from the ground up since Etsy.com debuted in 2005, will be a global market dedicated to craft supplies that seamlessly combines inspiration and shopping in one place. When it launches this spring, visitors will be able to shop original DIY projects and tutorials alongside all of the supplies they need to bring those creative projects to life.”
Basically the idea is that if you’re looking to buy items needed to make your own art or DIY projects, Etsy Studio will be your destination. While Etsy itself might be where you go for the finished/complete product, Etsy Studio is designed to be more of the place where you want to go if you want to do it yourself.
Etsy Studio is expected to be launched in the coming months so if you do love all these DIY projects, then perhaps it could be worth checking out in the near future.
