At the moment the AirPods from Apple are only offered in a white finish. This is pretty standard practice for Apple as so far, pretty much all of their accessories including their cables are white. However if you’re after something a little more funky or unique, you’ll be pleased to learn that ColorWare will do that for you.
For those unfamiliar, ColorWare is a company that offers up customized paint jobs for gadgets. In the past we’ve seen them offer all kinds of paint jobs for different tech products, such as consoles, gaming controllers, computers, and smartphones, so for them to offer up a customized paint job for the AirPods doesn’t really come as a surprise.
There will be 58 different colors for users to choose from, which means that there is a good chance you’ll be able to find something that suits you. However this paint job does not come cheap as it will be priced at a whopping $289, which is a $130 premium over the AirPods which are priced at $159.
If you add an extra $30, ColorWare will also paint the AirPod Charging Case for you as well. We’re not sure if this will be worth your money but if you think that the price is justified, then head on over to ColorWare’s website and start customizing your AirPods!
