DICE has confirmed that the Battlefield 1 February update is going to be released next month. The confirmation came through a tweet posted on its official account so while it didn’t really confirm what’s included in the Battlefield 1 February update, it did tell us when the update is going to be released. That counts for something.
According to reports, the Battlefield 1 February update is going to include all of the content that has currently been made available to those on the Battlefield 1 Community Test Environment. DICE actually confirmed last month that it was working on a new update for the game which would be released in February.
No major content additions are expected, only improvements and tweaks. Invitations for Battlefield 1 Community Test Environment were sent out at the end of last month and testers got to take the update for a spin so they are well aware of what this update is going to bring.
It’s also possible that participants of the Battlefield 1 CTE are testing the They Shall Not Pass DLC which is going to bring new weapons, a new Elite Class, new vehicles, a new game mode called Frontlines, and more. That DLC is due for release in March. DICE will hopefully confirm the precise release date of the Battlefield 1 February update in the very near future.
