The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air was launched last year to good reviews and it appears that the company has its successor in the pipeline. Latest reports reveal some purported details of the new notebook.
According to the report, production of the second-generation Mi Notebook Air is going to start later this year in April. The new notebook is claimed to have the same thin metal build as its predecessor and may even be lighter as it’s expected to be fashioned out of higher lithium-magnesium alloy.
Technical specifications of the Mi Notebook Air 2 haven’t been revealed at this point in time but we can reasonably expect it to be more powerful and power efficient than its predecessor. We should hear more about the specifications in the coming weeks as there are bound to be more rumors and reports about this device.
The latest report does mention that Xiaomi is going to price the Mi Notebook Air 2 competitively. That really has been Xiaomi’s go-to business strategy. It competitively prices products that offer similar or better specs than rivals.
