We have been hearing bits and pieces of rumors regarding the camera, and thanks to a recent post on Fuji Rumors, additional rumored features have surfaced. According to the latest report, the X100F is expected to adopt the Fujifilm X70’s digital-teleconverter feature. In case you’re not familiar, basically this gives the camera zoom-like functional, which seems more like an in-camera crop.
However given that the X100F is rumored to retain the fixed 23mm lens, we guess some users might appreciate having a zoom feature, digital or otherwise. However as Fuji Rumors points out, using the digital-teleconverter will disable the use of RAW image capture, so there is a tradeoff to using it.
Other rumored features include single SD card support, so no dual SD card support like some of you guys might have hoped, and it also seems that there will not be 4K video capture. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but with a rumored launch on the 19th of January, we might not have to wait too long to find out more details.
