If you’re looking for a high-tech showering experience, look no further than the U by Moen smart shower system which costs $1,225 and remembers your ideal water temperature. It actually does more than that.
You just need to preset your ideal water temperature and U by Moen is going to remember it for you at the press of a button every time you want to take a shower. It can create a personalized shower experience for up to 12 family members. All it needs is a push of a button to pause and resume water flow if you’re looking to conserve water.
The 5 inch LCD display can be used to display the water temperature or time. In the interest of safety, it’s going to keep the water temperature between 60 and 120 degrees. This shower system can’t function without a digital value behind the wall so it’s meant as an option to consider when you’re constructing or remodeling a bathroom.
The shower system relies on a series of valves to blend the water and bring it as close to the user’s ideal temperature as possible. Since it’s a smart object it can be connected to a Wi-Fi network and controlled remotely using an app. A built-in security feature ensures that the shower can’t be turned on remotely if the user isn’t present at home.
