Last year it was reported that DC’s “The Flash” lost its second director which mean that the movie would be delayed once again while the folks at Warner Bros. search for a new director. However it looks like things might take even longer because according to a report from Variety, the script is about to be rewritten.
According to the report, a new director for the movie has yet to be found but apparently Warner Bros. has hired Joby Harold to do a complete rewrite of the script of the movie. It seems that the studio has decided to take the movie in a completely different direction, at least from what was previously drafted by the previous two directors, Rick Famuyiwa and Seth Grahame-Smith.
Apparently the studio decided that since Ezra Miller would be busy filming “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2”, they would take this opportunity to start from scratch again. This means that “The Flash” movie will most likely be released much later than what fans were initially expecting, but hopefully all of this is for the better.
That being said, fans of Miller and The Flash character can expect to see him the upcoming Justice League movie which is set for a release in November later this year.
