According to T-Mobile, “In yet another unprecedented Un-carrier first, T-Mobile will now actually pay you back for what you don’t use. When you use 2 GB or less in a month, you’ll get an up to $10 credit on your next month’s bill per qualifying line. So, you never have to guess how much data you’ll use. Just opt-in online, pay your bill on time and get paid back if you use just a little!”
Basically this seems to deal with the problem that some customers have, in which there are some who believe that if they use less than what they pay for, they should have to pay for the unused data. In a way Kickback addresses that problem by giving users their money back, although not by much.
We suppose for those who consistently underuse their data every month, getting up to $10 off their monthly bill isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Of course you will have to be part of the T-Mobile ONE plan to take advantage of the Kickback program, so perhaps that could be worth checking out if you’re looking to save some money.
