Some incredible games were released last year and some there were already out in 2016 maintained their popularity throughout the year. Valve has published the list of Steam Top 100 best-selling games of 2016 and it hasn’t just stopped there, it has also discounted those best-selling titles so that you can start 2017 off right by picking up some of the games that did spectacularly well in the previous year.
Valve mentions that this list of Steam Top 100 best-selling games has been measured by gross revenue brought in. Instead of just creating a boring list that includes the names of games from 1-100, Valve has actually divided them into four separate tiers.
The tiers include Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Valve hasn’t really detailed how it selected a game to be part of a particular tier and whether or not the games in each tier are listed on the basis of their gross revenue.
You will find the usual suspects on the list among some other titles as well. Top games like Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto 5, The Division, Dota 2, and No Man’s Sky to name a few are included in the Platinum tier.
Head over to Steam to check out the entire list. Almost all of the games are being sold at a discount so if you’ve been meaning to pick one up, now would be the best time.
