According to Samsung, “Starting today, users can download the Samsung Gear S app for the Gear S2 and Gear S3 or the Samsung Gear Fit app for the Gear Fit2 on compatible iOS devices from the Apple App Store. Once the appropriate app is downloaded, users will be guided through steps to complete pairing with the user’s compatible Samsung wearable device.”
However at the same time, Samsung has noted that features and function will vary from device to device, but for the most part your experience should be the same that Android users have been experiencing so far. Samsung’s wearables have been pretty well-received and despite stiff competition from the likes of Fitbit, the Samsung Gear Fit is actually highly-regarded as far as fitness trackers are concerned.
The apps should already be live so if you are interested, you can head on over the iTunes App Store for the Gear S or Gear Fit app depending on the device you are planning to use.
