Sony was primarily focused on hardware in 2016. The year brought us the PlayStation 4 Slim, the PlayStation 4 Pro as well as the company’s first virtual reality headset, the PlayStation VR. The company is now driving the point home that there are a lot of games in the pipeline for the PlayStation 4. Days after a top Sony executives told fans to get excited for the amazing lineup for 2017, the company has posted a video on YouTube which highlights some of the PS4 exclusives coming in 2017.
PlayStation Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida said last week that PlayStation fans can expect “amazing software” to be released for the gaming platform in 2017. The new games will take full advantage of the functionality offered by hardware like PS4 Pro and PlayStation VR.
The video that Sony has posted on YouTube sheds some light on the PS4 exclusives coming in 2017. These include the likes of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Knack 2, Drawn to Death, Detroit: Become Human, the new God of War, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and more.
All of these games will be released at some point in 2017. Release dates have not yet been confirmed as there’s still some time to go before most of these games are deemed ready for public release. The video does get the point across, though, 2017 is shaping up to be a great year for PlayStation fans.
