Mass Effect: Andromeda is a highly anticipated game that’s going to be released in the near future. Fans of the franchise will no doubt be very interested in getting their hands on this title as soon as possible. They will be able to play Mass Effect: Andromeda early if they happen to be an Origin or EA Access member. Those membership programs enable members to play some games a few days before their public release.
It has been confirmed via the official Mass Effect Twitter account that Origin and EA Access members will be able to play Mass Effect: Andromeda a bit early, albeit only for a limited time. The news was later confirmed by the game’s producer Michael Gamble in a separate tweet.
What hasn’t been confirmed at this point in time is that just how early will Origin and EA Access members will be allowed to play Mass Effect: Andromeda. For previous games like FIFA, members were allowed to play the upcoming games for up to ten hours just a few days before the games were due to be released. It’s likely that this pattern will be followed for the new Mass Effect title as well.
The EA Access service for Xbox and Origin Access for PC cost $5 per month and allow members to play certain games ahead of schedule. Members also get access to quite a few full games from the EA Vault. Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released on March 21st, 2017.
