If been to a toy store or a video game store there’s a good chance you would have come across Funko Pop toys. These toys are based around pop culture and cover movies to TV shows and to video games. For example there are Game of Thrones Funko Pop toys, Disney Funko Pop, anime-based Funko Pop, and so on.
This is why it didn’t come as a surprise to learn that when Overwatch launched, there were Funko Pop toys available based on the game as well. However the initial launch was a bit limited in terms of variety, but not to worry as Funko has announced that they are expanding its Overwatch lineup.
Dubbed Wave 2, the new Overwatch figurines will include characters such as Mei, McCree, Lucio, Symmetra, Reinhardt, and D.Va in her Meka suit. Both Reinhardt and D.Va will stand at 6-inches tall so they are bigger than your regular Funko Pop toys. As expected they all share the similar Funko Pop trait that makes these lineup of toys so unique.
No word on pricing or availability but they are expected to be made available later this year. So, which of these Funko Pop Overwatch characters are you most looking forward to collecting?
