The good news is that it looks like whatever the problems might have been, HTC has managed to resolve them because according to recent reports, it looks like the Nougat update has begun rolling out to HTC 10 users in the UK. The update will bring the phone’s software up to version 2.41.401.3 and weighs in at 1.17GB, so safe to say that you’ll want to ensure you have enough battery and also a good connection if you don’t want the update to be interrupted while downloading.
HTC isn’t the only company to have had issues with the update. For a brief moment Samsung had also halted the Nougat update for the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, and more recently Sony themselves have also hit the pause button on the update. ASUS also recently announced that the update for the ZenFone 3 had been temporarily halted.
In any case we guess it’s good that these companies are catching the problems before they become more widespread, so until then it looks like users will just have to remain patient.
