The Nokia 6 was announced earlier this month and was exclusive to JD.com. The reports are claiming that when users logged onto the website, they were greeted with a message that informed them that the phone had already been sold out. Now we’re not sure how many units JD had initially stocked for the first round of shipments, but we guess either way it is still an impressive feat.
We guess we should have seen this coming. Recent reports have revealed that registrations for the Nokia 6 have been pretty high and crossed the 1 million mark not too long ago. Of course not all registrations will go through with the sale, but as we had stated it was still pretty impressive all the same.
The handset is currently only available in the Chinese market, but recently it was hinted that the Nokia 6 could find its way to international markets in the near future. It is expected that Nokia will announce more handsets at MWC 2017, so maybe we’ll learn more about the Nokia 6’s availability then too.
