It has been a while since Motorola – now owned by Lenovo – came out with new smartphones. It looks like that spell is going to end next month. It can now be expected that new Motorola smartphones will be unveiled next month at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.
Motorola has started sending out invites to a press for an event on February 26. This confirms that the company is indeed going to have a presence at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona next month.
The Mobile World Congress stage is regularly used by smartphone companies to unveil new handsets. It can reasonably be expected that Motorola is going to show off new smartphones next month even though the company hasn’t exactly confirmed what it’s going to be showing off at that event.
It’s likely that the Moto G5 Plus might finally be announced officially next month. We’ve already seen a couple of leaks related to this handset over the past few weeks, even some purported renders have emerged online, so it may very well be on the agenda.
