Motorola recently confirmed its press event for Mobile World Congress 2017 next month and it’s highly likely that the company is going to unveil new smartphones at that event. The Moto G5 Plus is expected to be one of the handsets that Motorola unveils at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. We’ve already seen a few leaks related to this device and the latest brings us specifications of the Moto G5 Plus.
The leak comes out of Indonesia where the Moto G5 Plus has been spotted on TKDN, the country’s certification authority. The listing for this handset reveals its model number and the chipset it’s running, among some other minor details.
Motorola’s new handset bears model number Moto XT1685 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with an Adreno 506 graphics processor. Previous rumors suggest that it’s going to feature 4GB of RAM as well as a 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera.
It’s unclear what Android version this device will be running out of the box but I’m willing to put my money on Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset is also expected to feature a 3,100mAh battery that will be good for a day’s worth of use.
We just have to wait for Motorola to officially announce this device at the Mobile World Congress 2017 next month. Pricing and availability information will likely be confirmed there.
