However that will not be the case because according to the Korean press, they are quoting a “high-ranking” company official who “confirms” that the LG G6 will be announced at MWC 2017, and that the phone will be released for purchase the following month, or to be more specific, the 10th of March, although it seems that the initial rollout will be limited to South Korea.
So far several details about the LG G6 have been confirmed. This includes the fact that the handset will most likely be skipping out on the modular design of its predecessor, instead it will be focusing on a more familiar design. Its display was also recently confirmed where it was revealed that the phone will pack a 5.7-inch QHD+ LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.
That being said, MWC 2017 will kick off on the 27th of February and will run through the 2nd of March, so remember to check back with us then for all the official details!
