A report from about a week ago revealed that LG could be launching new Android Wear 2.0 handsets on the 9th of February, which is also when Google is expected to release Android Wear 2.0 to compatible smartwatches. Now thanks to the folks at Techno Buffalo, they have managed to get their hands on several photos of the upcoming smartwatches.
According to the rumors, LG is expected to launch two smartwatches: the LG Watch Sport and the LG Watch Style. In the leaked photos, the former device is pictured in black while the latter is pictured with a gold finish. Unfortunately the images are a bit blurred since they appear to blown up from a smaller resolution, but it should still be clear enough for you to get a rough idea.
In terms of hardware, as was previously reported that LG Watch Sport is said to feature a 1.38-inch 480×480 display, a 430mAh battery, and 768MB of RAM. The Watch Style on the other hand will be a smaller device with a 1.2-inch 360xw360 display and 512MB of RAM and a 240mAh battery.
It is also pretty obvious that the Sport version will have a rubber/silicone strap that is aimed at more active users, while the Style model comes with a more stylish leather strap. No word on pricing but the details should be revealed on the 9th of February.
