It looks like Kolibree is back at CES 2017 as they have announced the Kolibree Ara, the world’s first toothbrush that comes embedded with AI. This means that if you thought their toothbrushes were already smart, the inclusion of AI should help make it smarter. The toothbrush has deep learning algorithms that will be able to learn your personal brushing habits and the more you use it, the smarter it gets.
The toothbrush will be able to detect where exactly it is in your mouth that you are brushing, and will be able to collect all sorts of information like frequency, durations, brushed areas, and so on. It will work online and offline, so even if the Ara is not connected to your phone, it will sync the data when it is.
The Kolibree Ara is also said to sport a 2-week battery life, so you’ll be able to use it daily without having to worry about charging it constantly. It also means that traveling with it shouldn’t be an issue unless you plan to go away for an extended period of time. The Ara is priced starting at $129.
