Recently it seems that there was a bit of panic amongst the gaming community when it was discovered that the Xbox logo had been removed from the Kingdom Hearts 3 website. It led to wild speculation that the game would no longer be coming to the Xbox One, but gamers can now rest assured that it was simply a mistake.
According to ICXM.net, they reached out to Square Enix who confirmed to them that the removal of the Xbox logo on the website was simply a mistake. The logo has since been restored so it looks like it’s business as usual. Like we said there was a bit of panic which we guess could be justified.
Why is this, you ask? It is because in the past, like with titles such as Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, the game was an exclusive to the PS4 so we guess maybe some gamers thought that Sony had once again nabbed the exclusive to Kingdom Hearts 3, but like we said earlier, it was simply a mistake so there’s nothing to fear.
That being said, Kingdom Hearts 3 has been announced for both the PS4 and Xbox One, but for now there has been no release date set for the game.
