Last year at CES 2017, Huawei took the wraps off the Huawei Watch designed for women. Essentially under the hood, they are the same as the regular Huawei Watch, except that they have been designed to look more feminine so that women who might have found the regular version too chunky or boring will have an alternative to choose from.
However as spotted by Android Police, it seems the women’s version of the watch has been discontinued. The Google Store page redirects users back to the Android Wear main page, and retailers such as B&H and Walmart are showing that the device is discontinued or out of stock, and only Amazon appears to have some units left.
This move shouldn’t be that surprising. Towards the end of 2016, the regular Huawei Watch was discontinued so we guess it was only a matter of time before the women’s version was similarly cancelled as well. Huawei had skipped out on releasing new smartwatches last year and it is unclear as to what their plans are for 2017, but in the meantime it seems that you’ll be hardpressed to find Huawei’s wearables in the market soon, so maybe you should get your hands on one before they are all gone.
