HTC 10 Android 7.0 Nougat Release Put On Hold

HTC was one of the first few smartphone manufacturers to start rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat for their flagship handsets quickly. HTC release the HTC 10 Android 7.0 Nougat update a couple of months back and even now the update hasn’t reached all users across the globe. They might have to wait for even longer now given that HTC has now put a hold on a roll out, at least in some markets.

According to reports, HTC Germany has already halted the HTC 10 Android 7.0 Nougat release because it found some bugs in the software and decided that the update will only be released once they were addressed. It appears that the hold applies to the whole of Europe.

Those who own an HTC 10 in Europe will now have to wait for a bit until the company’s engineers take a look at the update and find out why it has those bugs. It’s only after those bugs are fixed will the company start the roll out once again.

It’s unclear right now how long this process might take but if a Twitter leakster who have been right on many accounts in the past is believed, the HTC 10 Android 7.0 Nougat update release may resume in three weeks from now.

HTC hasn’t gone into the details of the bugs that have prevented the latest Google OS update from reaching its 2016 flagship smartphone.
