If you follow smartwatch news then you might have heard by now that LG is expected to launch two new Android Wear smartwatches soon. The company has reportedly worked on two models with Google and both of them are said to be powered by Android Wear 2.0, the next major platform update for Google’s wearable device OS. We’ve previously seen a low-res render of both smartwatches and now a high quality render of the LG Watch Style has been leaked online showing the device in silver and rose gold colors.
Reports suggest that the LG Watch Style and the LG Watch Sport will be officially announced alongside the Android Wear 2.0 public release early next month. LG is expected to feature them prominently during its appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2017 later next month.
Another report suggests that the LG Watch Style price is going to start at $249. It’s unclear how much the LG Watch Sport is going to cost but it’s said that the latter is going to have more features than its $249 counterpart.
The high resolution LG Watch Style press render comes from none other than @evleaks who has made a name for himself when it comes to leaking unreleased devices. No such render of the LG Watch Sport has been leaked online as yet but perhaps it’s only a matter of time before we get to see it as well.
