Halo Wars 2 is the sequel to the first Halo Wars game that was released back in 2007. This real-time strategy game is going to be released in the very near future. A multiplayer beta has previously been released for this game and Microsoft did say that it would launch another prior to the game’s full release. The second Halo Wars 2 multiplayer beta is out now.
The latest Halo Wars 2 multiplayer beta is going to enable players to get a hang of this game in a multiplayer scenario before they decide to pick it up when it’s released. Halo Wars Blitz is free-to-play for those who have an Xbox Live Gold account or Windows 10.
It doesn’t revolve around the conventional RTS strategy of building bases and gathering resources, it makes players rely on a card-based strategy. Players can select from a random pack of cards and work on balancing their attack and defense budget before they take on another player.
The demo is limited to PvP at this point in time but it will be possible to play the game against AI when it’s publicly released. This multiplayer open beta is going to be available until January 30th.
Halo Wars 2 is going to be released next month for Xbox One and PC. It’s an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
