That new skill comes in the form of taking and sharing a screenshot. This was reported over at the XDA Developers website where some were lamenting how Google Assistant seemed to lack certain basic functionality. One of those basic functions which was present on Google Now on Tap (which Assistant replaced) was the ability to take and share a screenshot, which as you can see in the image above, has thankfully made a return.
This doesn’t mean that you can use your voice to snap a screenshot, but rather the screenshot sharing button in the new interface will let users quickly grab a screenshot of whatever’s being displayed at the moment. This is versus having to press a key combination which sometimes may not work if not executed properly (for example you might accidentally end up locking your phone instead of taking a screenshot).
This is a server-side update which means that you don’t need to do anything on your end to see the changes. If you don’t see it yet not to worry as it should eventually make its way to you.
