If the latest reports are accurate, it seems that the Galaxy S8 will actually be released in April, or the 18th of April to be more specific. The report cites industry insiders who claims that this is the release date for the phone. What this means is that the launch/announcement date of the Galaxy S8 will be earlier, which has been speculated to take place either in late March or early April.
Typically we’ve seen Samsung take anywhere between a couple of weeks to a month from announcing the phone to releasing it, so we guess late March or early April makes sense. Last we heard, the phone is currently undergoing testing in China, which makes sense if they’re planning to launch it in the first quarter of 2017.
The Galaxy S8’s release is also expected to global, which means that the 18th of April will be applicable to pretty much all the markets that Samsung operates in. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we’ll have more news to share in the near future.
