The rumor mill is getting excited about the new flagship smartphones that Samsung is due to launch in the coming weeks. We’re seeing a new report or rumor about the upcoming devices on a daily basis and this is going to continue until Samsung officially launches the handset. Several renders of purported Galaxy S8 cases have already been leaked online and it appears that one of those case makers has also revealed the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus dimensions.
The Galaxy S8 Plus is expected to feature a 6.3 inch display in a body measuring 152.38 x 78.51 x 7.94mm. Samsung will apparently stretch the display by reducing bezels on all sides so that it can fit such a big display without having to significantly increase the size of the phone.
Reports suggest that the Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.7 inch display with dimensions measuring in at 140.14mm x 72.20 x 7.30mm. If these numbers are true, it would mean that the new handset is slightly thinner and shorter than the existing Galaxy S7.
It goes without saying that none of this has been officially confirmed at this point in time so take it with a grain of salt. Samsung is now expected to launch the Galaxy S8 in the third week of April.
