We’ve seen countless reports suggest what specifications Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone is going to tout. The latest suggests that the company is also preparing a variant of the Galaxy S8 that’s going to feature 6GB of RAM. Some more detail has been revealed by the report which claims that two variants featuring 4GB and 6GB RAM will be released in China and South Korea.

The reports we’ve seen so far about the Galaxy S8 specs suggest that the handset will be available with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. Today’s report suggests that at least in South Korea and China, Samsung is going to offer the Galaxy S8 with 64GB and 128GB of storage as well as 4GB and 6GB of RAM respectively.

It was also reported several months ago that Samsung might even offer a variant of the Galaxy S8 in select markets which will feature 256GB of storage as well as 8GB of RAM but we haven’t heard much about that particular variant since.

It’s also claimed that the Galaxy S8 will only be offered with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage to customers in North America, South America and Europe. Since the upcoming flagship is likely to have expandable storage, customers will at least not be worried about being stuck with just 64GB of storage.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything about the Galaxy S8 at this point in time so it would be best to take this report with a grain of salt. The company is expected to formally announce the Galaxy S8 on March 29th.
